It has been a productive year for me in terms of making; if not finishing or selling. I have spent hours in study, trying to increase my mastery of various mediums, with varying results.
I have been studying various artists I find on Pinterest and how they draw faces. I am trying to increase both my illustrative and realistic skills to enhance my surrealist works. This piece above was constructed completely on Procreate from a photo and a digital painting of a girl. I am enjoying the power procreate gives my clumsy skills to create worlds I couldn't imagine before.
This piece above is from a story I have been working on, about a girl who sees faces in the dark. It is based on my early life when I was losing my sight and began to have visions that kept me from sleeping.
This is an illustration from a story I wrote years ago called "The Purple Water" a piece about a town that goes mad from the effects of pollution.
