‎Hello Hives,
‎
‎There is something about life that I think we don't pay much attention to. Sometimes, we are doing something for the very last time without even knowing it. The sad part is that those moments often feel like every other ordinary day until they become memories we wish we could experience again.

‎Think about it for a moment. There was a time you walked with someone you loved, laughed over something that was not even funny, sat around the same table to eat, or had a conversation that seemed like it would happen again tomorrow. Nobody told you it was the last time. There was no warning, no special announcement, and no reason to hold that moment a little longer than usual.
‎
‎Life simply moved on.
‎
‎Sometimes, when I think about this, I realise how easily we take ordinary moments for granted. We are always looking forward to something bigger. We want more money, a better job, a comfortable life, and a future where we won't have to worry so much. There is nothing wrong with wanting these things, but in the process of chasing them, we sometimes forget to enjoy what we already have.
‎
‎We become so busy trying to build a better tomorrow that we barely pay attention to the people and moments making our present meaningful.
‎
‎The people we see every day won't always be around. Children grow up, parents grow older, friendships change, and people we thought would always be part of our lives sometimes take different paths. Even the places we regularly visit can become places we look back on with mixed feelings.
‎
‎That is the strange thing about memories. When we are living through those moments, they don't always look special. Sometimes, they are just ordinary days. But years later, we may find ourselves wishing we could return to one of those days, even if only for a few minutes.
‎
‎Perhaps happiness is not always about having something extraordinary happen. Sometimes, it is about recognising the beauty in the things we have become too familiar with.
‎
‎I am learning that we don't have to wait for special occasions to appreciate the people around us. We can make time for conversations, laugh a little more, put our phones aside when someone is talking to us, and enjoy the little things without feeling like we should be doing something more important.
‎
‎We may not control how long certain moments last, but we can choose how present we are while they are happening.
‎
‎So, the next time you sit with your family, spend time with a friend, or enjoy a simple day, don't be too quick to let it pass unnoticed.
‎
‎You never know which ordinary moment will become a precious memory.
‎
‎What if the life you keep wishing for is already hiding in some of the moments you barely notice today?
