Read a woman's published biography (Lady W.O. Aitalegbe: Friend of Peace) contains a number of tributes. A school principal said of her "Mama accepts any situation however difficult that she finds herself in as if it were normal." This tribute emphasizes one aspect of her character; PERSEVERANCE.
Perseverance is a keyword in any endeavour if that venture is to succeed. The ants perseveres as part of it's diligence and industry. In summer it gathers food and in winter it endures the extremities of the weather while quietly carting products into its granary. The virtuous woman exudes industry, integrity, decency and generosity. But an underlying factor in all of these attributes is perseverance.

It is perseverance that brings to the fore the virtuous woman's manifold qualities. Many businesses fold up because the proprietors come across several hurdles, which they are unprepared to face. A community unjustly stigmatized a man. But he refused to cave in to their victimization. When he died, his children wrote as part of his tribute "You taught us to stand up to our mountains." Economic empowerment is made possible when entrepreneurs instead of seeking for beds of roses doggedly stand up to their mountains.
Keep moving on. After the dark tunnel comes a glorious light
