Hello everyone. My next project review is DataBlockchain – merging Big Data, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence. In my opinion, all of you will be interested in this project because of its incredible idea. Let’s start it.

SITUATION OF DATA MARKET

Today’s companies and enterprises are facing the big problem is lack of premium data sources while the existing database sources are becoming inaccurate and backward. The high valued data sets are the assets which they would like to acquire. It will be able to help them approach new potential customers and retain their current customers.
In addition, data providers do not have enough trust in outside companies who store and help them monetize from their own data. And they are waiting for transparence and fair payments as well.

EXISTING PROBLEM

Lack of data or too much data

There are billions of data sets from thousands of sources in today’s data industry. But these are almost inaccurate or duplicate data. Thus companies have to spend too much time to verify and analyze to acquire the critical data. And End-users possibly receive the extraneous data while to still pay high price for that. The need of data analysis and unification system is required.

Lack of trust

To be allowed to utilize data, companies have to collateralize to data owners. And besides, data providers need to determine the trustable companies who are possible to help their data acquired high approaching rates and maximize profits. The need of an independent system is required.

Lack of transparency

Data providers always feel that they are paid unfairly with the time and efforts to collect these data. They also worry about the security and privacy policy. The need of transparency and privacy system is required.

Big Data, Blockchain and AI

Big Data is as a huge volume database with the ability to gather, store, analyze, search, share, transfer, query, update. [1] DataBlockchain leverages the advantages of Blockchain to enhance Big Data to be more effective and sustainable.
Blockchain and smart contract will be able to eliminate the existing issues of Big Data such as storage, sharing, transfer, updating. Blockchain is great technology for data storage and management because of transparency and immutability.

In other side, smart contract has an important role to calculate and distribute the payments which will be not only performed immediately without the complex processes as traditional systems but also more transparent and fair.

Predictive analytics (a type of Artificial Intelligence – AI – using data analysis and machine learning) will be used by the Smart Indexing Engine (SIE) [2]. The SIE is built to not only offer users the accurate and up-to-date data but also guarantee all requirements of data set’s attributes. Predictive analytics will analyze data and give score to its source. This score is called as “Confidence Score”. It is based on the age of data and the available attributes. The higher confidence score data source reaches, the higher payout data owner obtains.
