How are you all my dear friends. I hope you are all fine. In today's post, I have shared with you the holy and revered and the favorite place of Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan, Sardar Mandir. sardhar dham is a beautiful village located at a distance of about 21 kilometers from Rajkot district, Gujarat state. sardhar village is a small village with a population of 8000 to 10000. Sardhar has a magnificent Swaminarayan temple built with the blessings of Lord Shri Swaminarayan which I have shared with you today through photographs.
There are a total of 14 gold peaks in this temple, big and small. Seeing it from afar, one experiences its grandeur. I have shared with you here the photograph of the top of the temple in this photograph. Many social welfare works are done through this temple. There is a hostel for the boys studying here to stay. The boy studying in this hostel is totally free to eat and drink in the hostel. In addition, if the boy is studying in Rajkot which is 21 km away from Sardhar, the total cost of taking him to Rajkot and putting him back is also borne by the temple.
There is a Swaminarayan Multi Specialty Hospital near the Swaminarayan Temple. The hospital also has experienced and trained doctors and medical equipments with technology to cure diseases. All this is controlled under the control and supervision of Pujya Nityaswarupadasji Swami.
Now if we go further in the temple, the carving work here is unparalleled. One by one the stones are carved and arranged in an orderly manner. This photograph is of the entrance after climbing the steps of the temple. Where standing in front and looking towards the temple, one sees Lord Swaminarayan sitting in the womb.
Stunning stone carvings in the roof of the temple can be seen in this photograph. The goldsmith is carved in a large stone in an awkward manner. At first glance, it looks like an inverted fountain. The carving work done on this side is wonderful. Attaching the stones on each column, the stones below that look like carvings and elephant trunks are unparalleled.
There is no way to go around the temple. In Shri Swaminarayan Sampradaya, there is a great glory of circumambulating the Lord and doing Ashtanga Dandavat. The characters of Lord Swaminarayan are engraved on the stones circulating in the path of Pradashina . Due to which the sanctity of this place becomes wonderful.
As I told you earlier, Lord Swaminarayan had a rasalila with the saints in which Bhagwan made as many saints as he had his own form. And with each saint the interest turned green. Which is also mentioned in Grantham. This character is beautifully depicted by carving on stone.
This photograph is a photograph of the scene on the right as you walk around. Upon entering this temple, the soul in the body experiences peace. Which you will not find in any other corner of the world. This place is also located in a quiet area due to which there is no other noise or unrest here.
This photograph shows the main sanctum sanctorum inside the temple. Which can also be called the central part of the temple. The roof of which is carved in stones by different desigens in 8 layers. It will be difficult to make an 8 level design as beautiful as it looks. There is a view of wonderful art.
This photograph is of the beautiful scenery standing in the sanctum sanctorum and looking to the left. No matter how many pillars there are, they are all made of stone. There are beautiful carvings on the pillars of all the stones.
Inside the temple, small and large elephants are carved in stone and small idols are also placed. These elephant statues are made at every entrance of the temple. Which is a center of attraction.
People who have faith in God come here for Darshan. And those who love art come here to see the stone carvings. I was amazed to see the beauty of this place. I hope you will need the desire to visit this sacred and supernatural place through these photographs.
This photograph is of Ghanshyam Maharaj sitting in the temple and appearing in the first idol. Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan's childhood name was Ghanshyam. On his side is Dharmadeva, the father of the Bhavan standing in the middle. The mother of the last standing Ghanshyam Maharaj is Bhaktidevi.
This idol is Lord Shri Swaminarayan. The sight of this idol is so pleasing that it is impossible to describe. The whole throne of Lord Swaminarayan is made of gold. The Guru of Lord Swaminarayan is Shri Ramananda Swami. Lord Swaminarayan has also performed many miracles in Sardhar. There are also small rooms and exhibitions by idols.
Lord Swaminarayan was incarnated on this earth 220 years ago. So that the Haribhaktas and the saints have preserved the garments of their prasadi, the nails, the hair, the perch in their feet and many other things. This photograph shows the whole thing.
Swaminarayan Madhir in Sardhardham is wonderful and supernatural. Which should be visited at least once. Sardhar is located 21 kilometers from Rajkot city so it is easy to reach here. I hope you like this post.
