Total AFCON 2019: Quarterfinal matchday 3 preview; ALGERIA VS IVORY COAST
It's no longer news that Senegal and Nigeria have booked 2 out of the 4spots for the semifinals. The remaining 2 spots would be battled out today, one is going to be between Ivory Coast and Algeria.
The journey has not been rosy for the Ivorians as they won 2 of their 3 group stage matches and luckily defeated the Malians in the round of 16, even thought the national team have a lot of big name they have still not been impressive as expected.
On the other hand, Algeria has been the best team so far in this year competition winning all their matches and scoring the most number of goals so far, they defeated the Guineans by 3 goals to nil in the round of 16 and have recently been tagged the favorite to win this trophy with lots of high profiled players in the national team but even at that, this is a game of football and any team can spring up surprise so the Ivorians can not be over ruled yet until after the match

Wilfred Zaha and Jonathan Kodjia (Ivory coast)
NB: The winner of this tie will play against the super eagles of Nigeria in the semifinals on the 14th of this month.
