The story of this painting starts with the quote of Friedrich Nietzche: "As long as you still experience the stars as something 'above you', you lack the eye of knowledge."
With this premise in mind, the journey of painting started. I started painting it in the kitchen. It was fun and lovely.
I have been working on this painting for a long while and at some point it was exhibited at the University of Zagreb, where I had my solo exhibition. Although unfinished, the painting was hanged.
During the exhibition, I took it back into the studio and worked more on it. One late night, around 2 am the painting was done.
No longer were the stars something above, they became a part of me, or maybe I became a part of them. Anyhow, we had fun.
"Fly me to the Moon.
Let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars...
In other words...
Fill my heart with song, and let me sing forever more.
You are all I long for, all I worship and adore.
In other words... Please be true!"
- Frank Sinatra (Fly Me to the Moon)
隆Por favor, s茅 sincero!"
- Frank Sinatra (Ll茅vame a la luna)
