Hello Splinters Family

For this week the rule is back to basics. All units lose abilities but the summoner's effects are still active. The most common units used when I get this rule are units that have a large life or damage. For me, the best summoners to use for this ruleset are the following:

Kelya Frendul - Grant all units additional armor and extra speed. If you expect your opponent will use melee or ranged offensive play.
Possibilus The Wise - Grant all units additional +2 life, Trample, and range. combination of large armor and life melee attacker in the front position then followed by or second position a high damage melee attacker. The best if one of the rules is lose armor.
Thaddius Brod - Decrease by 1 life and magic damage of the opponent. Best for all magic only or expecting your opponent to use a magic attack offensive play.
Quix The Devious - Decrease by 1 speed and range damage of the opponent. if the rule is range only or no magic.

MY BATTLE

The battle I submit is from my daily rank battle in a modern format.

The Battle condition is 49 mana cap The only elements you can not use are water and earth. The ruleset is broken arrows and back to basics.

I chose Thaddius Brod to reduce the life and magic damage by one.

CURSED WINDEKU - Attacker on melee level with 11 life.

2nd Position

PELACOR DECEIVER - Attacker on melee level with 10 life.

3rd Position

MAGI OF CHAOS - Attacker on a magic level with 6 life.

4th Position

MAGI NECROSI - Attacker on a magic level with 5 life and 4 speed.

5th Position

KAIN HACE - Attacker on a magic level with 3 damage.

6th Position

BARASHKUKOR - Attacker on a magic level with 5 damage.

BATTLE HIGHLIGHTS

ROUND 1

Barashkukor killed Xenith Monk. After that attack my Cursed Windeku also die after the attack of opponent Kain Hace.

ROUND 2

My Pelacor Deceiver die after the magic attack of opponent Kain Hace.
Barashkukor payback and kill opponent Magi Necrosi.

ROUND 3

Opponent Barashkukor attacks my Magi of chaos.
Once again my Barashkukor gives payback and kills the opponent Barashkukor.
Because opponent Kain Hace has only 1 life my Kain Hace kill him in 1 shot.
The battle ended in round 3.

My idea of deploying a magic unit with large damage and mixing it up with a unit with large life is successful.
Because one of the rules is broken arrow I expect my opponent will use a magic attack my plan is to lessen the damage of the magic attack.
