Chaqueta espeluznante pintada a mano
Hi! It's the first time I post here, I wanted to show you something, probably count more as a painting but this was the way I decorated a jacket so I can use it because one of my dad's friends gave it to me, she wasn't using it anymore, but you can't just go around wearing a National Guard jacket, so I took one of my sister's designs and transferred it.

Es la primera vez que posteo aqu铆, quer铆a mostrarles algo, probablemente cuente m谩s como una pintura pero esta fue la forma en que decor茅 una chaqueta para poder usarla porque una de las amigas de mi pap谩 me la regal贸, ella ya no la usaba, pero no se puede ir por ah铆 con una chaqueta de la Guardia Nacional, as铆 que tom茅 uno de los dise帽os de mi hermana y lo transfer铆.
First, this is the jacket and we defined the area that was visible and wasn't affected by the belt.
Primero, esta es la chaqueta y definimos el 谩rea que era visible y que no estaba afectada por el cintur贸n.
Next, I think my thing is more like painting, so I got my sister to re-do her drawing, I didn't want to mess it up so soon 馃槄 if it was my drawing I'll do it but it's hers so better do teamwork.
Lo siguiente, creo que lo m铆o es m谩s bien pintar, as铆 que hice que mi hermana rehiciera su dibujo, no quer铆a estropearlo tan pronto 馃槄 si fuera mi dibujo lo hago yo pero es de ella as铆 que mejor hacer un trabajo en equipo.
The drawing was done with different chalk colors to different layers and deeps, so I can easily see where to add shadows and lights.
El dibujo se hizo con diferentes colores de tiza a diferentes capas y profundidades, por lo que puedo ver f谩cilmente d贸nde a帽adir sombras y luces.
Once it was done, I started with the painting process. It's recommended to start with a white foundation but I have two things against that, at least for this job: I don't have that much white painting, and I'll lose the lines because they were done directly on the cloth. But I like it, the cold green gives I nice foundation to the cadaveric look we are looking for.
What I do, is to start with the shadows, those will be my new lines. Blue and purple depending on the intensity of the shadow. I'm using only primary colors, black and white, for this painting.
Una vez hecho esto, empec茅 con el proceso de pintura. Se recomienda empezar con una base blanca pero tengo dos cosas en contra, al menos para este trabajo: No tengo tanta pintura blanca, y perder茅 las l铆neas porque fueron hechas directamente sobre la tela. Pero me gusta, el verde fr铆o le da una buena base al aspecto cadav茅rico que buscamos.
Lo que hago, es empezar con las sombras, esas ser谩n mis nuevas l铆neas. Azul y morado dependiendo de la intensidad de la sombra. Para esta pintura s贸lo utilizo colores primarios, blanco y negro.
Once I have my darker points and the lines that can be easily erased, like the spider legs, I'll go with the brighter zones, it's like making a sculpture.
Of course, you are not an artist if you don't have a coffee cup and a dirty water cup close enough to mix them up.
Una vez que tengo mis puntos m谩s oscuros y las l铆neas que se pueden borrar f谩cilmente, como las patas de ara帽a, voy a las zonas m谩s brillantes, es como hacer una escultura.
Por supuesto, no eres un artista si no tienes una taza de caf茅 y otra de agua sucia lo suficientemente cerca para mezclarlas.
Here is my foundation, it's not a plane surface but a working area that tells me what to do next, this way I don't have to see the original drawing all the time.
Aqu铆 est谩 mi base, no es una superficie plana sino un 谩rea de trabajo que me indica qu茅 hacer a continuaci贸n, de esta manera no tengo que ver el dibujo original todo el tiempo.
See? of course, my painting will have a wider range of colors, because I'm working with paint and not pencil colors, also, that's my sister's style and this is mine.
All I have to do now is make the surface smooth and solid.

Here it is. Now the details. As you can see, the spider legs were erased, but, since I painted them black at the beginning, I can easily see them under the white layer.

Here you can easily see the changes between each layer I was adding.

The last step is to add highlights with white, it really brings the drawing to life.
El 煤ltimo paso es a帽adir los reflejos con el blanco, esto realmente da vida al dibujo.
And here is the final product, I'm wearing it in a mall, but you know what your smart friend did? I wore it in a military mall! It's one that has a lot of stores and services for the military so there were a lot of National Guards there and they looked at me weird until they saw the drawing and notices I wasn't an element not saluting them and using her uniform with regular clothes hahaha
Y aqu铆 est谩 el producto final, lo estoy usando en un centro comercial, pero 驴Saben lo que hizo su inteligente amiga? 隆Me lo puse en un centro comercial militar! Es uno que tiene un mont贸n de tiendas y servicios para los militares as铆 que hab铆a un mont贸n de Guardias Nacionales all铆 y me miraron raro hasta que vieron el dibujo y se dieron cuenta de que no era un elemento que no les saludaba y usaba su uniforme con ropa normal jajaja
