My last two restaurant experiences had two fighters, one line cook and one server. Both semi professional mixed martial artists, one had $10,000 in purses the other probably spent $10,000 to train. Training does not pay like working (the Professional, 1994)

The first young man lost feeling in both forearms up and both legs, knees down from throwing punches and kicking. He fought two assailants in an alley with half a brick; this is how his career got started.

The other young man's from Bosnia or Croatia. He looks Greek. He has more questions for me. He reminds me of the serious young man Channing Tatum ran into the water fountain with in the movie Fighting.

I told him, you know your jabs effective when you wag the other man's head or make his ears wiggle. He may not say anything, but he'll give you that look like George Clooney in O Brother Where Art Thou like, 'Man, I'm in a tough spot.'
