The difference between fornication and adultery

Despite the obvious, the modern translation for adultery is: fools too rich to think they can get away with it, but try anyway. And fornication is for poor people who keep doing it, but don't know why they keep on getting sick. Adultery is high end prostitution.

Rewind: both include intercourse. And old testament thinking was, if you had intercourse, you were married anyway. Not much difference between the two, before the book of Matthew. So if you were caught doing it, you were stoned, that is horse medicine. 'Put him or her to sleep.' Ultimately these were children's versions. 'Teacher, teacher, teacher...student, student, student.'
