Maybe people upvoted me for a lot because of all the hardwork I do that doesn't get upvoted. Why is it only your way is correct? Are the people upvoting me not capable of determining how much value they upvote on my post? Am I held responsible for having something overvalued one time, vs the dozens of undervalued posts I have? Should I seek out more rewards for all the undervalued posts I have made? Boy have I made a bunch, I guess I should really start hammering people to make up for those?
If you follow #informationwar at all you will know that for the last 3 years I have done hundreds of hours of manual curating on this platform. When someone upvotes any of my posts, are they "only supposed to upvote that post on my merits of that one post "or are they "taking in the totality of everything I've ever done?". I would say the latter in this case, given the people who upvoted me. I am also not in charge of what people upvote on my account, nor do I almost ever ask for upvotes. There's no conspiracy here.
What is your suggestion beyond your statement?
