A few years ago, my family and I made a trip to D.C. to attend a wedding. I had a website then called, "Patriotic Revelations" and it was an attempt to set the record straight on government lies and corruption. Needless to say, I felt very uncomfortable in that town.
I drove around one day by myself and took pictures everywhere. That place is full of masonic symbols if you've never been there before, you'll be amazed. I took pictures of various examples, some of which were on government/military license plates. Even the churches.
We left that town to head back home about 3am one morning. On an expressway, doing the speed limit of 55 mph, there was not another car on the road.
All of a sudden, our van was violently struck from behind. What a shock because there had been no headlights in my rear view mirror.
Was the fact that I was taking pictures of maybe something I wasn't supposed to connected to this accident? Was it an attempt on my life because of my website? I'll never know for sure but I'm suspicious by nature.
That facts are that the guy driving the car that rear ended us was driving with no lights on. He said he fell asleep at the wheel but struck me from behind and to the side as if to spin us out.
A 3 or 4 lane highway and someone asleep at the wheel with no lights on traveling at a high rate of speed rear ends the only car on the road.
The other noteworthy incident while we were there was when we had lunch near the whitehouse. The place was full of suits, politicians and businessmen. At the table next to us, I overheard one man offering another a seat on the board of a company if he could see his way clear to vote a certain way. Heard that with my own two ears. They caught me listening and talk about getting the evil eye.. Kinda felt that eye on me the entire time we were there.
I wouldn't go back there again unless we had a million people march on the Captial to throw the bums out. When that happens, I'll be there.
Insult to injury: I was born in a small town in S. Illinois. My grand parents owned a little bank on the corner. Last time I went down that way, I found out it had been turned into a Masonic Lodge.
