Sunday Thoughts- Freewrite
Sunday is a day of reflection for me.
Sunday is traditionally a day of rest, and of reflection. What will happen in the coming week? What is going to be learned, and want surprises may pop up along the way?
For me, next week holds promises of improvement. I am glad to be in a position at work to make positive change, and am glad to be a family man with an amazing family.
It wasn't always this way. Once, long ago, I longed for the life I have now. I appreciate my stance in life, and was once a broke college kid on his bed looking up at the ceiling and imagining a good life. All that striving led to where I am today.
It is for this reason that I pose this bit of advice. I urge all reading this to claim their blessing. Next week holds 7 days- hundreds of chances to change and grow and we both have the same amount of hours to embrace life.
Sunday makes me question my decisions of the proceeding week. What did I do right? What did I do wrong? What can I learn from this, and what do I need to do next week? Instead of dread, I am filled with questions and reflection. I avoid anxiety through meditation on positive decision points.
What do you want to change? Are you dressing the coming week? Do you regret anything done next week? Meditate and think on what you can do to change. I am far from perfect and am open to criticism and advice.
Bring on the week, I say.
We may be seeing a recession soon. Instead of fear, I see opportunities. Fresh and new growth born of destruction, which is artificial and economic in nature. It's a chance to change. Mabey take a new job?
All I know is that I can endure. Bring on Monday, and all that the new week may bring.
