Got a sexy letter today from Sweden! Well... not from Sweden but you will get what I mean..
Let's open this fucker up 🥳🥳🥳
A red envelope, the contents of which I reveal another time, and four old silver coins from Sweden, woohoooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Let's have a closer look!
First, we have a 1 Korona, minted in 1967:
That's 7 g of 0.400 silver so 2.8 grams of silver. I already have a couple of these Adolfs, so nothing new for my collection here.
Yet, the next three are new additions:
Again 1 krona but this time with Gustav the fifth. Same weight and purity as the previous coin, so another 2.8 grams of silver.
Next we have 2 coins that I really enjoyed their. They are just so plain.... They literally look like coins for a board game or something 😂
50 ores from 1961, or 4.8 grams of 0.400 silver purity. So 1.92 grams of silver.
And finally, 25 ores from 1957:
This small baby is 2.32 g of 0.4 silver so 0.928 grams of silver.
Size comparison vs a standard euro coin:
All in all, I paid, with postal included, 7 euros for 8.448 grams of silver.
Yeah, with today's spot price at 0.62 $ not a great price...But I had some huge expenses this month and this was the only really cheap deal I could score.
As I mentioned a few days ago, everyone in the places I hang out is asking for really crazy prices. I guess people don't want to sell their silver at these weird times we are living in 😅
Anyways, expect a couple posts in the near future with more info on my fresh additions.
Stack on !
