A few days ago I made a chunky purchase of silver, 20 dracmai coins (1960), essentially doubling my stack of that particular piece.
Figured to make a post showing off my new stack 🥳
First, I got 7 naked pieces:
I must buy one asap to get that album page full I guess 🤣
Then another two pieces in these paper thingies:
And then another two in these plastic coin collections:
That's a total of eleven coins. I'd probably have a couple more that I gifted in the past but who cares 🤣 And I think I have another couple on my family house, along with some other treasures I will some day share. Anyways, sway, way more than what I used to own a year ago when I started stacking silver!
In case you wonder there's almost 69 grams of silver in these little fuckers (7.5 g of 0.835 ag per coin)
And some Greek mythology ..
The hot babe on the front is Selene, the moon goddess of ancient Greeks:
In ancient Greek mythology and religion, Selene is the goddess and the personification of the Moon. Also known as Mene, she is traditionally the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun god Helios and the dawn goddess Eos. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens. Several lovers are attributed to her in various myths, including Zeus, Pan, and the mortal Endymion. In post-classical times, Selene was often identified with Artemis, much as her brother, Helios, was identified with Apollo.Selene and Artemis were also associated with Hecate and all three were regarded as moon and lunar goddesses, but only Selene was regarded as the personification of the Moon itself. Her Roman equivalent is Luna.
So I guess I have a literal moon bag! Hah!
Ok..I'll excuse myself now 😅
