One of the greatest strengths of hive is imo that it can help you network and meet irl other crypto peeps.

Last year I had the privilege to meet alexvan@alexvan for the first time and today he popped again near my place so we arranged to have a couple beers.

And like last time he greeted me with not one but two amazing gifts! A silver piece and a beer! Beer and silver?!?! It really can't get better than that 馃ぉ馃ぉ馃ぉ馃ぉ馃グ馃グ馃グ馃グ

Here's what I got!

Damn! A 1 thaler coin from 1780 馃槻馃槻 That's fucking sweetttttt! This is a coin I was planning to eventually get, so it's amazing to add it in my collection for free!

I guess I will make a post about this fat beauty one of these days, for now I'll just say it's one chunky piece, 28 grams of 0.833 purity or about an oz of silver 馃帀馃帀馃帀

As for the beer, it's called Tegernseer Hell. Never heard of it before, apparently it's made from Bavarian piss or something:

Clean and refreshing German Helles beer from Br盲ust眉berl Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alpine foothills.

The small town of Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps produces a range of beers rarely seen outside the local area. This classic, smooth, crisp helles beer is really refreshing, flavoursome and sublty hoppy. source

I haven't tried it yet, I will savor it for a day that I will be in a mood for a good beer and of course share my opinion here!

I also got him something, but I'll let him post about it if he likes! I'll just tease it's something closely related to hive history!

Thanks again fren!
