Now multiply this by a thousand, add a few more profanities and you got... whiplash!
On a serious note, I watched this movie yesterday and I enjoyed it more than I expected!
The story is about an aspiring young jazz drummer, trying to be the very best and his toxic relationship with his music professor (Fletcher) who uses bulling tactics to bring out the best from his students... And in most cases with very good results!
There are two angles you can take when watching this movie. The casual one where you simply enjoy the profanities and the unique insults Fletcher comes up with.
And then there's the serious one, where you get to contemplate about stuff like bullying, working hard and sacrificing everything for ever lasting success, allying with sworn enemies towards a common goal etc etc.
Whichever you pick, you won't be disappointed!
A great movie and a must watch, even if it is just for the outstanding performance by J. K. Simmons who feels like he was born for the role of being the world's greatest dick.
