Let's have a closer look, starting from the silver German marks:
Some really cool designs and two sexy eagles! No complaints here! As a reminder, all commemorative 10 marks are made off 0.635 silver and have a weight of 15.5 g.
Moving on, we have my first silver coin from Bulgaria, 50 leva from the 1930s
Sadly, purity is just 0.500 with a total weight of 10 g.
Remember the boring 100 Markka coin I featured a few days ago? Well, it only made sense to get the boring looking 200 Markaa too 😂
Another low purity coin, 0.500 with a weight of 8.3 g.
And lastly, my first silver piece from the Philippines!
This is the oldest piece of today's mail. A 1908, 50 centavos. Purity is better here at 0.750 with a weight of exactly 10 grams.
Dunno why, but for some reason it screams team USA on the back?!? Maybe the Philippines were US soil back then? 😂😂😂😂 I guess I'll check up on wiki after publishing this post!
