Since I started collecting silver and shit google suggests me all kinds of silver/gold numismatic news stories.. Usually I don't even click them, cause it's the same boring shit again and again, but sometimes something pops up that piques my interest..
And this is one of them!

630 thousand fucking dollars 😄

God damn... I really wonder how rich some people are. Most people wouldn't be able to afford it even after selling their organs. And yet, somewhere there is a rick dick throwing 630 k to buy it...and probably stash it somewhere never to be seen by the light of sun again 😄😂
As for the coin itself, it is a Long-Whiskered Dragon Silver Dollar, one of the most sought after vintage Chinese coins.
This particular one was struck at the end of the Qing Dynasty in 1911 and has a pattern by Luigi Giorgi (whoever the fuck that is) which makes it one of the most sought of late Imperial silver Dollars. And of course it's super rare.
After doing a bit of digging on these coins, it looks like they all are pretty rare, at least in this condition.. They often go in auctions from 500k to over a million fucking dollars. A piece.

Or this one (sorry no pic) that closed at almost 3 million! That can get you a mansion, with lifetime maintance slaves. But instead someone bought a coin, geez 😄😂
