Over the course of time I have introduced you to all kinds of strange and bizarre animals... Usually they are alien-like or just really..weird...

Well, this one is....just ridiculous 😂

Allow me to introduce to the Cocktupus:

Alternative names given to this silly looking by the internet are, the "penis starfish" and the "pentadick" 😂

The starfish depicted above belongs to the species Choriaster granulatus, and is best known for the chubby with rounded tips, that often resemble a human penis 😂 Other common names it comes by due to its appearance are granulated sea star, big-plated sea star and doughboy starfish.

It is found in tropical waters across the world including East Africa, the Indo-Pacific region, Great Barrier Reef, Red Sea, Vanuatu, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. It's usually found in depths anywhere from 1.5 to a max of 53 m deep.

Other than its funny looks there isn't anything else really interesting to say about the creature so I will stop paraphrasing Wikipedia now 😂
