"Po druhé světové válce a holokaustu, při kterém bylo zabito 6 miliónů židů, chtěli židé stále více jejich vlastní zemi. Byla jim dána rozsáhlá část Palestiny, jež považují za jejich původní domovinu. Arabové, kteří už zde žili a sousední země pociťovali neférovost a neakceptovali novou zemi.
