Wigs and Masks.
I had a lot of fun viewing an array of wigs, masks and outrageous outfits in a costume hire shop not so long ago. After getting the 'ok' to take photos, my enjoyment went to another level as I went on a clicking frenzy with my camera.
I have to admit, the rest of the world ceased to exist, as another world completely alien, totally fascinating, a little bit scary and a tad exciting pulled me in. I hardly knew where to start, but some very attractive models took my attention with their vibrant and glamorous hair do's.
When I 'looked' at the models I 'saw' in my minds eye, the finished product. And the image below is the first of many that I have digitally re-arranged. Isn't she GORGEOUS?
Or do you like the Blue version better?
Here is the original photograph pre digital editing. Nice but the WOW factor was missing as far as I was concerned.
Perhaps gentlemen still prefer blondes? Well, I've decided that 'Green' is the new 'Blonde.' What do you think?
What about the lady in the hat?
Have you ever seen such elaborate eyelashes as the ones on the fashionista below? And this is the first time I have ever seen gold lipstick. That's one expensive pout isn't it?
But stripped of all colour, the lady in the hat takes on an entirely different persona. Such is the power of digital manipulation.
Masks, unfortunately have become the norm around the world because of the Corona Virus pandemic and I have seen a few very original designs created to change things up a bit and perhaps add a touch of light-heartedness to what is undoubtedly an extremely serious matter.
However, donning the features of the handsome mask below to lessen the chance of contracting the disease would be going too far, I think. That's quite a profile isn't it?
But throw in a few fluorescent streaks of lime green and hot pink and this produces a different kind of scary.
This edit takes on a clownish demeanour ........without the smile.
These four models took their job of displaying their unique and stylish hair do's very seriously.
But I decided it was time for a bit of drama. In Gold.
And pink.
Pink is cool, but too much pink is...….. (yawn) so very 'yesterday'. Trudee to the rescue!
Voila! There's nothing boring about the blue, wind swept look of these beauties.
And by painting aqua shades to balance the pink in this photo, I saved the day.
That's it for today folks. My digital dalliance is over for the day. But do not despair...…...I will return soon with more from this incredible costume hire venue.
THANK YOU FOR VIEWING. HAVE A GREAT DAY.
