Today we took advantage of the nice weather and went for a walk in the park, albeit for a short time. Even though I take my medication regularly and pay attention to my diet, I still feel exhausted. Even though resting at home makes me feel good, staying in the house for a long time lowers my energy. I take short walks during the day to get some fresh air and to recharge my batteries. Also, spending time with dogs has always been very good for me!
Lady and Asil are incredibly active when they get together and I have a hard time controlling them, especially when I'm sick and I don't have enough energy for Lady. Although Asil is a calmer dog, when he gets together with Lady, he turns into a completely different person. Huskies, by their very nature, are more active and intelligent than other dogs. This makes them more difficult to control. I advise you to think again and again before bringing a Husky into your family. If you don't have the time, energy and patience to devote to them, please don't consider bringing them into your family. This goes for all animals!
It is much more hurtful than we imagine to add a pet to our family and then realize that we cannot take care of them and abandon them. I get emotional even as I write this. What a cruel thing to do, to take them in like toys and then get bored and throw them away!
Fortunately, as an individual, I have the peace of mind that I have done what I can for animals! Sometimes I feel inadequate and rebel, of course! But at least I am doing something. What about those who are completely insensitive? There are many things to say about this but I don't want to spoil the beauty of today. The weather is beautiful! I plan to spend a quiet day with birdsong and nature's own melody. Love!
