Greetings fellow Steemians. I have a bit of sad news in regard to The Scoundrel Archer picture story series. I've thoroughly enjoyed making the screen shots, editing and enhancing said pictures, and writing the story of the "what if I woke up as a wood elf in Skyrim". Your responses and replies have given me great joy, and further drive to continue the series. I've wanted to bring everyone a new adventure every week, and so far have succeeded in doing so.
Unfortunately, I am going to have to slow down on the series itself. It's not that I am running out of story or adventures to bring to you, it's simply taking a major toll on me. I spend several days, sometimes working 8 hours of those days, to prepare the weekly installment. I have neglected the most important project, the rewrite of the first novel in the Pelmythia series, devoting most of my time to working on The Scoundrel Archer series. I haven't even opened the rewrite since December, and that is something that I am going to have to focus more on.
Juggling my personal life with my writing and art work is something I am used to, but I can't allow any series or project to take as much time away from my primary Pelmythia novels. I've overburdened myself, and it's my own fault for doing so. When something begins to cause issues with you, then the healthiest thing one can do is pull back from the culprit. So, for my own well being, I am going to have to reschedule each Scoundrel Archer installment to twice a month, so that I can allow myself to focus on the rewrite of Loved By the Sun.
This doesn't mean that I am not going to bring you other adventures or interesting posts with pictures and artwork; in fact I am awaiting the final edit of the second chapter in the Steemit exclusive series "Lone Wolf", so that I may post it for your reading pleasure. I am only slowing down the production of The Scoundrel Archer series.
I apologize to those of you who have looked forward to the weekly installments in which you follow my shenanigans throughout a tropical version of the beloved game Skyrim. Fear not, though. I'll still bring you along as I continue to traverse the land, harass jarls and merchants, annoy my companions with my foolishness, and terrorize town guards with witty quips and insults which they often don't understand.
Thanks for your understanding and your support. The Scoundrel Archer will be back next week, and I'll adhere to the bi-monthly schedule from then. Have a great day!
