A Constitution could be great if people would follow it. The problem is typically the corrupt bureaucratic hierarchy that's expected to carry it out. Blockchain technology is a decentralized consensus system that allows the creation of monetary systems and organizational structures as self-enforcing constitutions. As systems native to the internet, blockchains clearly cannot directly apply or defend against violence, but they can clearly define a society's standards of property ownership and efficiently track transactions within that society. A constitution that defines a monetary system through impartial computer code run by people all over the world rather than basing it on centralized authority is a powerful defense against corruption.
