I've recently started using this bot that was made by Hive account@deathwing (read his blog here). I found it very useful because I got notifications every time there's something new on the Hive blockchain. The great thing is that you can customize the notification settings. For example, if I want to be notified only when there are transfers from one account to another or when someone sends me a token, then I specify this in the settings and get only those notifications.
The bot is pretty simple and does not need any programming knowledge to use. You just have to join the bot channel on Discord, register your account and set up the notification settings. If you don't know what is Discord - well, it is a messenger app with an option to create private chat rooms with friends or business partners. The great thing about discord is that it allows multiple people to work in one channel at the same time and still track each others' conversations. This is super-useful when working on a project with someone else.
I have been using the bot for a few weeks now, and I love it! Hive account@deathwing has created a nice tool for everyone who wants to keep track of the Hive blockchain. I hope he will continue developing it.
Some Features of the FRIDAY:
Transfers: Every time someone transfers some tokens to your account you will get a notification. Mentions: Whenever someone mentions you in their post or comment, you'll get a notification. Comments: When someone makes a comment on your post, you'll get a notification. Follows: Get notified when someone follows you Reblogs: Whenever someone reposts one of your posts. Delegations: Whenever someone delegates some amount of HP to you
And many more... Overall, I think the Friday bot is a great addition to the Hive community. I am sure that it will help a lot of people stay up-to-date with news from the blockchain.
Besides these features, the bot also provides you with a summary of all changes that happened in the Hive Engine market. Transfers, delegations, token stake / unstake and so on. You can find them in the settings. Game notifications are also available. dCity and Splinterlands updates, etc. So, if you're a fan of the game, you might like to use the bot.

Easy to use. Setting everything up takes less than 5 minutes. After you have joined the Discord, you can start setting your preferences straight away.
