I agree with you about AI. I personally care more about the quality of the end results. I remember in the early 80s when computer graphics first started being used in movies (Last Star Fighter, Youn Sherlock Holmes, etc) and the outcries over its use over practical effects. I feel like we are seeing that argument again with AI being used. It is more about the talent using the tool than the tool being used.
I have looked at some "vibe coded" games on YouTube recently and a few of them are actually quite interesting looking - they genuinely do not look like AI assisted/created works either. It is just a matter of time before the "anti-AI" argument loses steam and falls to the wayside for the next buzzword topic to be featured.
