Yes! That is something we don't often see with new games as everyone involved is looking to start getting a return on their investment. I would rather have a delayed, polished, working great out of the box, than I would something that was buggy, requires day one patches, then regular patches throughout. Just hold the game and work on it.
Nothing but respect for them doing that.
