These are the gaming equivelants to those "events that will mess with your sense of time" that are popular on YouTube.

So many people think Atari 2600 and Commodore 64 were done in the mid 80s, no new commercial releases. When in reality, both lasted for many years more than that.

What was wild was the town, Fort Bragg, California (It is up North close to Oregon) is a tourist town, small year round residency there. I guess it was mostly tourists grabbing the game, maybe grandpa and grandma remembering a grandkid enjoyed that "Atari thing". 😂 Either way, it was interesting they sold so many 2600 games there.

A few years ago, prior to the pandemic, I ran into a Game X Change location here in Arkansas that was selling various new retro releases such as those AtariAge puts out. It was cool to see brick and mortar stores supporting the independent homebrew community like that.
