Sadly, the only difference is the box and getting a physical manual versus downloading it, some having a light up marquee on the cartridge. The actual game itself is not changed at all.
That is not worth their asking price for "limited editions", that is why I repeatedly put it in quotes. They are artificially inflating the value in the box. To me, a physical manual and a silver trim box is not worth at least double the price.
As far as I know, it doesn't even change the title screen or anything in the game between "limited edition" and regular. It is all cosmetic, at best.
It is clearly a cash grab for collectors and creating a "fear of missing out" knee jerk purchase here.
