I think I still have this issue. I have most of the VG&CE run, used to have almost all the Gamefan and EGM issues but had to let those go for financial reasons years ago.

The guy that did The Game Doctor in these mags, Bill Kunkel (RIP), would later become a friend of mine. He gave me a piece of advice that set me on a new career in writing and media relations.

Once a great read for me, now it is hard to look at this particular series of mags without a tear in my eye.
