Yes! That version is what caused the copyright/trademark problems I hinted at. Originally the owners of that cartoon wanted to animate the 1980s Real Ghostbusters but were turned down. Since they owned the rights to the name they made a cartoon based on their movie version from, I believe, the late 1970s.
It is quite a legal circus and definitely worth researching if you enjoy the show and want to know why the name changes.
