That looks really awesome but it being a custom chip, I have a feeling we have seen about as much of that as we will for a while. I would love to see some games created using it - maybe via certain emulators? That would open the additional power to independent homebrew developers to use at a much more viable price point.

Still, that does not take away from the awesomeness on display. It is interesting how people are making more custom stuff for cartridge systems, like this. I am sure similar upgrades could be made for CD based consoles but those are probably infinitely more complex and would require working through the system BUS and motherboard (probably locking out any meaningful development).
