It was weird that on the Sega Genesis their military style game, Super Thunder Blade, sold horribly but on the TurboGrafx-16 Military Madness was nearly sold out everywhere at launch.
I think they, NEC, missed an opportunity with Military Madness but it is not like it is their fault. The USA branch never had control over what was brought over nor in how many units. That was all controlled by the Japan headquarters. Such a shame as things could have been different had they let the USA branch have at least some control over the system.
