Yeah, Deathmatch Classic and others are popular, or were. Considering how they designed it, those with the knowledge can literally make anything with the engine. I know someone, years ago, recreated the first level of Super Mario Bros in it and you ran through facing off against Quake enemies. Their foresight to leave things open like that is probably why the games were so popular for so long.
