I am right there with you on that one. I would love to see a big screen remake of the early 2D Metroid's. Maybe a trilogy release or something. Remember the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy on SNES or the Super Mario All-Stars release? I would prefer it be more like Super Mario All-Stars than Ninja Gaiden Trilogy (which unless I am mistaken only really barely improved the graphics and audio over the NES versions).

That would be awesome and surely drive even more demand for the Nintendo Switch right now.
