It is no secret that Disney has launched their Disney+ service to great fanfare. It is slightly less known that Netflix is cutting support for some hardware in a couple weeks. To say it is not a great time for Netflix is probably an understatement. They are doing things to stem off new competition and to reinforce their fanbase though. One action is signing a new streaming deal with Nickelodeon.

What is included in the deal

New films and new television shows based on Nick characters according to GossiponThis. Not only new content but apparently older content is included in this deal. This is a seriously impressive agreement considering the sheer amount of content that Nickelodeon owns.

This comes as a positive after Netflix announced cutting off support for certain hardware next month.

I’m ready, I’m ready

You may be thinking, Netflix and Nickelodeon already work together. You would be right. This is an extension and expansion of that agreement.

This basically strengthens the agreement already in place between the companies. Right now, in light of the success of Disney+, Netflix has to do anything and everything to secure more original, and classic, content for their service.

How to join the fun

If you want to check out Disney+, or Netflix, then hit eBay or Amazon for a streaming device. If you are interested in capturing some of this success for yourself then check out Robinhood where you can invest in Netflix and Disney, and many other companies (and even crypto like Bitcoin).

Are you a Netflix subscriber? Recent dropper of the service? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
