Update - TheSegaGuru has recently published a preview of Resident Evil 4 running on the Sega Dreamcast. This is no longer a proof of concept as it appears it will be completed by the team, unless Capcom

Ugh, I cannot imagine the pain you felt going through that with your GameCube.

A lot of the problem I have experienced with Amiga emulation was from the early 2000's. I need to sit down and research the current crop of emulators and see if there are any that I can get running reliably.

You are welcome, thanks for the support.

It was just one of many things that stuck out to me in this playthrough. I can't wait to see this release and what is added over the demo.

I gave up emulating Dreamcast a long time ago, having rocked that console hard for years - it pains me to use emulators that, while amazing, were not quite up to par at the time. I have a similar situation

It is really interesting watching the Sega Dreamcast fan market do its thing. Especially since the hardware was basically off the shelf components, easier for developers to learn the ins and outs of so

I love the Backrooms mythos but err on the side of Kane Pixels' version - the expanded universe is interesting but it has gotten so convoluted as more and more people pile on. I agree though, there is

They have done a couple of Star Wars crossovers (where I got my trooper skins). The last one was pretty cool as it added some of the smaller ships to fly around in.

I was too young to see the controls for either Space Ace or Dragon's Lair in arcades but I loved watching them on that second monitor on top. I played the heck out of them both on the 3DO when I got one

I thought so too, I loved both games myself. Even if my dad made me get WWF Wrestlemania on the NES (the first one, with Hogan on the front) instead of Abadox. I had to wait till I was a late teen to finally

You are welcome. I am still quite new to these recompile projects. I remember hearing about them when they first started up but ignored them as, well, without anything to show other than obscure game code,

It is wild to see what can be accomplished when memory constraints are removed for the most part.

If I disappear for a few years, y'all know what happened. 🤣

It was amazing to see this on the NES back in the day. I sucked at key points (jousting and fencing) but still enjoyed it. This remaster is surely going to be amazing.

The voice acting was what caught my attention in a local EB store. They had it available for play and there was some kind of demo playing, or maybe they had the kiosk set to reset at a certain point. It

I only ever saw it in real life once. The crowd was too big to get close enough to see anything, plus I was a short kid. My brother played the heck out of it, spending his whole allowance that week in

I played a lot of Mortal Kombat 2 because my mom was infatuated with the finishers, particularly Jax's. She couldn't get them to trigger so I spent a weekend recording them on a VHS tape for her to watch

I will have to look up TES 3 and see what they accomplished. I didn't know they used AI to enhance textures on that one. I played an unhealthy amount of Morrowind back in the day. Thank you for the kudos.

Games had that pull on us back in the day. I followed Resident Evil through Gamefan magazine religiously. It looked exactly like what I wanted - an updated version of Alone in the Dark. I don't remember
