I worked for years behind the scenes tracking down rights holders. It is not an easy task, sometimes you have to convince people/companies that they indeed own the rights to some of these older titles.

GoG.com are certainly doing some great work and I hope more retro gaming fans support them so they can continue to grow and do more good.

There is definitely a lot of work to be done on those backgrounds. The backgrounds are arguably as important as the bullet patterns and enemy design in these types of games.

I remember hearing the soundtrack of IV on SNES blast in the EB store I frequented. I just could not bring myself to buy a copy because the graphics turned me off for some reason.

I played, and enjoyed Bloodlines quite a bit. I remember getting stuck on the tower climb, only a couple times ever reaching the bat at the top.

I loved SOTN, it got me back into Castlevania games.
