RE: Mortal Kombat 2 on 3DO Released
Zelda was never released on the 3DO, that was the Philips CD-i that got a Zelda game, three of them actually. One being a remake of the original NES game but with digitized graphics ( As far as I know,

They have a version you can play in your browser, or you can download the ROM file for free. It is a tough game but it looks great.

RE: Tons of Classic Sega Games Move To Completely Free on Google Play and iTunes
I agree. It seems they are preparing to delist them though so this is not a method of release they are going for long term. I am not sure how they will bring them back to the app stores, if at all at this

RE: Mortal Kombat 2 on 3DO Released
I remember back in the day, probably six months before they discontinued the 3DO there was an announcement about Mortal Kombat 3 coming but that only ever yielded a very small screen shot of the title

RE: Mortal Kombat 2 on 3DO Released
Yeah, it launched in most markets, at least the first Panasonic model, at around $800, some places were definitely right at $1,000 for this at launch. I agree, a good 90% of the games for this console

RE: Tons of Classic Sega Games Move To Completely Free on Google Play and iTunes
For free, they are definitely worth grabbing. Even if you hate them, just uninstall and ignore them in the future. There are some great games in their set on both app stores.

I was not aware they were completely free either. It was a pleasant surprise, I added the missing ones to my collection. It seems Sega is indeed preparing to delist these from both app stores sooner than

RE: The Lost Temple of Gold for Atari 8-Bit Computers Released
I agree, it is quite awesome. It is amazing seeing what modern programming techniques and game ideas can do when applied to older platforms. Programmers are eeking out every bit of detail and experience

RE: Rumor Mill Could Halo Could Officially Be Released For The Atari 2600/7800+ Consoles?
I hope if they do go ahead with this that it is enhanced and not just a straight port of the version available already.

I remember when Mr. Fries first announced it and people were quite skeptical. It was absoluately wild.

RE: Gamestop Damaging Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles at Point of Sale
I have never played that one but I have found a few copies of a Xenoblade game on 3DS cheap, like $5 new (I did not have a 3DS at that time). I bought them figuring, why not but they were quickly sold

RE: Gamestop Damaging Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles at Point of Sale
I never got the Mario Kart bug over the years and only really got into the 2D Zelda games, peaking with A Link to the Past, but the 3D Mario games? I am a sucker for that stuff. No idea why but I love

RE: Gamestop Damaging Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles at Point of Sale
I am actually thinking of grabbing a Switch 2 considering it is backwards compatible with most of the original Switch library. That price is tough though, I may end up grabbing an original second hand

It really is like that. Definitely has that Neo Geo overly detailed sprites feel to it.

RE: Duck Hunt GB Turns the Classic NES Zapper Game Portable
I am glad you have fond memories of the original. My father was long since done with gaming before the NES came along, he did play a lot of Maze Craze with me on the Atari 2600 though. It is wonderful

I am a sucker for overly detailed sprite based games. Neo Geo was right up my alley. Sadly, I never saw an In the Hunt arcade unit, that I remember anyhow. My mind was blown the first time I saw a YouTube

Kai Magazine definitely have their finger on the pulse of graphics styles from the late 80s and early 90s that were popular on the Sega Genesis. Most of their releases would have fit in perfectly with

It is sad that officially licensed options for games like those on the Neo Geo are not as good quality wise as alternative options are. I have no problem supporting licensed releases like this but I am

RE: Castlevania Rondo of Blood Port To Sega Genesis Shows Off Maria Character
The older pixel limited entries hold a certain charm about them. Newer stuff looks great but those 8 and 16-Bit releases are simplay fantastic looking. I know it is probably nostalgia speaking but to me,
