I am sorry for that toddler who died in Mumbai because the asshole doctor refused to accept Rs 500 note. I am sorry for that aged lady from Andhra who died while standing in queue to replace her money. I am sorry for that uncle who died from heart attack after PM Modi decided to ban Rs 500, 1000 currency notes. I am sorry for that vegetable vendor who is not able to sell goods due to lack of cash in the market. I am terribly sorry.
But at the same time, I am proud of the fact that there has been no major terrorist or Naxalite related incident because Indian black money has been destroyed right from Malaysia to Pakistan. I am proud of the fact that Indian banks are right now overflowing with declared black money (around Rs 56k crore till Fri evening).
And I am proud of the fact that personal tax may be abolished very soon in India. Very soon, health care would be provided free for all as income tax funds are increasing at an astonishing rate right now.
The sacrifices made by you, me and all others wont be wasted. We are contributing to the nation, for the nation. Just like roads and vehicles can't be held responsible for 4 road accident death evey 4 minutes.. #currencyban can't be held responsible for these unfortunate deaths due to mistakes by fellow human beings.
We had to break the status quo. We had to check the parallel economy of Rs 3 trillion black money annually (30℅ of Indian GDP).. and we had to do it now.
Revolutions like these take some sacrifices. I am sorry, but not ashamed.
It's for our India. For our own people. Be the force be with you and me and all Indians.
