Ah. I hate such clarification posts, but sometimes it becomes important. Lot of heat generated for one of my previous posts about a drunk uncle using Pitman to distribute random amounts to random recipients, while dancing on the road. This was shared by Pitman founder Veejay Shareware Shara, and it was questioned by several legends from the industry, who writes your story, my story, everyone's story.. but somehow pissed over a cute, drunk story. Even resorting to name calling, which is of course, not my concern. Writing teaches you a lot.
3 Observations :

  • If you can go back to 2002, and tell the kid who just got his first Nikita 3310 that in 2016, Govt. will force you to buy groceries and pay for auto using this same mobile, then he will obviously see you with doubtful eyes and ask you what you have drunk? Such earth shattering changes are indigestible by normal folks. It's normal to deny, until that happens. Maybe what I witnessed was something which hasn't happened before, but who knows.. it can become a norm tomorrow.
  • Why does drunk uncle throw away currency notes while dancing in a baraat? Because by default, every human being is a generous living being, but the realities of life binds him. Getting drunk takes him back to his primal ways, and his sub-conscious being inspires him to show his generosity by giving what is dearest for all - currency. The same primal behavior gets translated into digital way when an app like Pitman is there with you. Drunk uncle in a baraat wants to show his generosity, love but there is no currency. He uses Pitman app to do the same he shall do with currency. Big deal? Not for me..
  • I am a fucking writer, not a news reporter. I don't expect you to believe everything I say. And I don't want you to do that. Your relationship with me is just like any other relationship: You can agree to disagree. You don't need to justify your love, hatred or any other emotion. And the same with me. More than 12000 likes and 8000+ shares which my Face book posts received this year hasn't been powerful enough to change me. And it shouldn't change your love for me as well.
Accept a relationship as it is. Without any filter or judgment.
