10 years ago I left my dock out on lake Cayamant in Quebec, a little late in the fall. Water was cold, from my window I could see activity underwater, not knowing what was going on I ran down to the dock and to my delight I was seing very large Lake Trout Spawing, I have never seen trout that size in my lake.
Hard to see the size of the trout but trust me I never hooked fish this size. In the summer those big fish live 80 to 100 feet down in the cold lake water.
