The train
You won't believe what happened to me yesterday!
I was walking through the National Botanical Garden with some friends, with the intention of doing some morning exercise... It turns out that we saw this beautiful train, which works perfectly, has schedules for visitors to get on and do a tour of the entire park (the park has approximately 2 million square meters).
We start taking some pictures on the train because it´s very nice and well painted, and i got the wonderful idea of taking pictures in the front train, the one that the driver sits... While i'm taking pictures there, without wanting to, i opened the door of the front car of the train... and well, what a nice thing for me, because the pics would be greater. In the inside, i was so happy feeling that i´m a real train driver.
Suddenly, i press a button without wanting to, and the train begins to advance, yeah... you read well THE TRAIN BEGINS TO ADVANCE! Obviously i was scared a lot and began to push the same button that i previusly had touched to stop, but i had no luck... I continued to analyze the controls and did not understand anything... no key to turn on, no off button, no accelerator or brake pedal, only had the on button and a giant lever to my right... while this happens and i am moving forward, my friends start screaming in the outside, one of them rides on the side of the door, on the outside trying to open it, another one runs to the employees office to ask for help and the other one goes running to the drivers office.
The first thing i think about doing is pulling the lever down to brake, because that's the logical thing to do, right? it's an automatic reflex for any driver i think... but it turns out that instead of braking i accelerated more... to all this i was using the train guide so i don´t hit anything in the road, at the same time 4 security people were following me and one of my friends.
Suddenly, i begin to go deeper into the park, where there are a series of very complicated curves, and dangerous ups and downs, these are designed to be crossed slowly in the train, but as i put on all the speed, i had put myself without realizing danger... without thinking twice i take the lever and climb with all the strength i had upwards (because for those who do not know me i do not exercise much, and besides being small in height i have no strength). I pulled it up so hard that i broke the lever and for my luck the brake didn't work... the train continued with the same speed... at that moment the panic started on me and i started knocking on the door to get it open, i started looking for something to break the glass and couldn't find it, i took the lever that i had broken and hit it, THE GLASS WAS TOO STRONG. A this time i even had a police cart behind me giving me instructions but the adrenaline and panic did not let me hear anything.
Suddenly, i see a Y-shaped intersection on the road and i decided to take my right because i didn't know the layout of the park and because nothing worse could happen, right?... when i immediately see a sign that says ¨dead end street¨, my heart stopped, it turns out that the road ended at a lookout point, and guess where it was looking? AT A CLIFF. It was at that precise moment when my life began to pass by in my head, my mind went blank, i no longer listened to anyone, i remembered all the loves i had, my pets, the good memories i had with my family, my first kiss, my first love, when i saw my mom smile, all the adventures i use to have visiting and doing internal turism in my country...
I was already reaching the cliff, and just time stopped, i realized that my end had come and all i did was thank God for what he has given me, how happy i have been and how much i have learned, y just screamed THANK YOU GOD. Besides this i asked myself, and i ask you too the same, i would like you to answer me in the comments... Did you believe my story? If not, where did you realize it was a lie?
-Shee laughs shamelessly- I'm sorry if you almost had a heart attack, it was just a story i created for a contest. I hope you liked it, the idea was to write a fake story with a photo, and there you go.
And well this is all for now, thanks for joining me in this little corner with tripode, i hope to see you soon... and remember, good vibes always.
