Sunset here in western Romania is magical
It is almost impossible to watch the sunset and not dream - Bernard Williams
For a few days now, here in Romania, the weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse (in a good way), instead of having cold, even frost and lots of snow, we have spring weather, with temperatures above 15 degrees.
The unusually high temperatures of the last few days have pretty much messed up the crops I have in my garden, and if it lasts a few more days it will affect my fruit trees which probably won't grow.
But there's nothing we can do about it - it's the climate that's gone mad, probably because of us humans on Earth.
Why I wrote above that the weather got crazy in a good sense of the word, because I had the opportunity to take a walk very close to the area where I live and photograph a sunset on the banks of the river Mures, I could not refrain from taking a few shots from the drone, so I also photographed a small part of the commune where I live.
From what I have noticed lately more and more people are looking to spend time walking in nature, my opinion is that nature heals us, helps us disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle, we spend more time with family and what is most important about nature walks, they are free.
That's what me, my wife and our dog Max did, we got in the car we drove for a few minutes then we abandoned the car and took a walk, we chose an area close to home because the time we could spend here was quite short, we really wanted to catch a sunset, we hadn't visited these places for a while and a sunset here I don't even remember when I last saw it.
The place I came to is called in popular language, "Baia Domnilor"( Gentlemen's Bath), a place where more than 30 years ago I remember coming to swim and sunbathe in the Mures River, I came with my mother and some of her friends, today unfortunately almost all the people I went to "Baia Domnilor"( Gentlemen's Bath) with are no more, yes, time does not forgive us unfortunately, and we are only left with memories.
I think I missed both me and my wife such an outing in nature, to unwind our nerves, to relax a bit because moving through nature is part of a healthy lifestyle (I admit that lately I have not had a healthy lifestyle).
Our walk in the field by the Mures river was wonderful, I think our dog felt the same, after we returned home he fell asleep and even snorted, the little darling.
I've seen a lot of wild ducks and some migratory birds in flight but I couldn't identify them because I've never seen them before, with this climate change I think the poor migratory birds are suffering too.
I tried to get the drone closer to where some sheep were grazing, but gave up because they got scared and I didn't want anything to happen.
I am very pleased that I managed to photograph a special sunset in a place that reminds me of my childhood, when with adults we used to go swimming and sunbathing, my goodness what special times.
I left for the end some pictures I took inside the commune where I live, I also took pictures of the viaduct that crosses the railway, in some pictures you can see how beautifully the land is worked in the outskirts of the commune.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone and my Dji Mavic Mini drone, and the text is also designed by me.
