A month or so ago, the CG artist I have been using for 3 or 4 years suddenly disappeared, which really left me in a pickle - I had three visual novels that needed CGs and so needed to find someone else to do them.
I did find three, fortunately. Unfortunately, they are much more expensive than my original artist and generally charge per character in a scene.
Progress has also been much slower as well.
I'm still hoping to get Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part III : NightFall out soon-ish, although I doubt it'll be this year now. I've got to put a majority of the graphics in, get it tested and then released, so in the worst case it'll be towards the middle/end of 2027
Progress was going well for the re-write of Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part I : DayRise, as was the CG's for Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part II : No Regrets For The Future, but at the time of writing the CG artists for those have been very quiet, so we'll see how it goes with there.
In addition, I recently found that my character artist is no longer available either. Fortunately, it only affected the Leighton Pool graphic, but even so, that too is annoying.
I have no idea why both are no longer available. Quite possibly, it's due to all the turmoil in the Philipines, in which case, hopefully they are both okay.
Where this leaves Island of Shadows, either, I don't know, but as they won't be dealt with until after everything has been released, the CGs for that can be decided later.
As for WTC 3, that's only been partially re-written so far, so don't know the final count for CGs there.
I have thought of rewriting WTC 1. I would most likely keep that CG-free as in the original, if I do, to save money
