Yummy, yummy! It's Snack Time! - Peoplephotography by worldcapture Week #30

Here is my submission for Week #30 of the contest People Photography by @worldcapture.

This shot was taken near the Medical Garden in Bratislava, on my recent trip.

As I walked out that garden, I crossed paths with this mother and her kids and I couldn't resist using the Zoom feature of my camera to take a photo.

It seems like the mother had shared a meal with her kids - the girl got the chips while her brother got the drink. All three of them were enjoying this mid-afternoon snack and judging by their faces, they were very happy with their purchase.

In these times where most of Western Europe seems to be turning a little more racist, I found Slovakia to be a very tolerant and welcoming country. I saw plenty of people, from all places, races and religions and not a single one of them was being harassed or being looked down to.

Specially in Bratislava, there was a big diversity of cultures... and I even saw a family of Italians selling a mix between a Slovakian treat and an Italian pastry. Yes, I've tasted it. It was a bit strange... but good.

No one has bothered me while visiting Slovakia as a tourist, too... (I can't say the same about some other European countries closer to Portugal, where I was not very well welcomed by the locals.)
