Good morning, Street Art Lovers!
Here's an entry for the CCC's Street Art Contest #111, hosted by @digi-me.
I saw this cool art piece next to a restaurant I went to, in the little town of Vila Nova de Cerveira.
The graffiti was planned in such a way that the overall image looks like a wheel.
The concept is nice and interesting. It had a representation of Earth in the centre of the image and - surrounding it - there were the head shapes of the human species through times... according to the Evolution Theory.
From a distance, it fooled me... At first, I thought it was a clock. It was only when I got closer that I realised it was something else. 😆
I don't know who lives there... but it looks like his house got a lot cooler with this graffiti. A little kid was playing by the wall while his parents were finishing lunch. 😁
This is located in a busy part of the village where there are a few restaurants, cafés and lots of traditional commerce. I bought a tasty jar of honey in one of the small stores.
The streets in this area were decorated with colourful flags which gave the entire place a very cheerful look.
Here is the restaurant I went to. For just 10€ they serve you a very nice meal, including soup, drink, dessert and coffee. You can't get a much better deal anywhere.
The owner and her daughters were the ones taking care of everything, from cooking to serving... and I must say, the smiles on their faces made us feel really welcome.
The meal was delicious, too. We cleaned our plates, even though the doses were quite large! 😋
I hope you enjoyed these photos and article! Thanks for stopping by.
