Resting by the Danube Canal (Vienna)

Good night, fellow bees!

Here are a couple of shots taken in Vienna, by the Danube Canal (Donaukanal).

This is a perfect place to rest, gather energies and eat a snack before you resume your tour around the city. Along the shore you'll find plenty of places like this, where you can simply sit and enjoy the view.

These youngsters had the same idea and they decided to stop for a while. They found themselves a nice spot under the shade of the trees and had a little afternoon snack.

The waters are a bit murky and moving fast, as you can see, so you can forget the idea of a swim at this place. 🤭

The best thing to do is to sit by and enjoy the landscape...

When you're feeling energised again, you can resume walking along the shore. From this canal you can visit some wide public parks across the river... or head into the opposite direction, which will get you to the city centre in a matter of minutes.
